Welcome to Step Network. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Step Network website and our Internet, hotspot and related services. By accessing the website, creating an account, purchasing a service or using a Step Network service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the relevant service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to customers, subscribers, visitors and other users of Step Network services. Additional terms may apply to particular packages, promotions or services and will form part of the agreement where presented to you.
2. Eligibility and Account Information
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping account and authentication credentials secure and for notifying Step Network if you believe an account has been compromised.
3. Internet Service
Step Network provides Internet connectivity according to the package, access method, service area and terms applicable to the service purchased.
Service performance may be affected by network conditions, congestion, equipment, wireless interference, upstream connectivity, location, maintenance, power availability and other technical factors. Unless expressly stated otherwise, service is provided on an availability basis and is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or completely fault-free.
4. Fees, Packages and Payments
Customers must pay the applicable published price for the selected service, package, voucher or subscription. Prices and package conditions may change from time to time.
A service may not be activated, renewed or continued where the required payment has not been received. Promotions or special offers may have additional conditions.
5. Acceptable Use
Access to Step Network Internet is provided for lawful use. You must not use the service in a manner that violates Ghanaian law, infringes the rights of others, threatens network security or interferes with normal service operation, including:
- Violating copyright or intellectual-property rights.
- Hacking, cracking, unauthorised access, scanning, exploitation or cyber-attacks.
- Distributing malware or viruses.
- Sending spam or phishing communications.
- Bypassing authentication, access controls, billing systems or network security.
- Disrupting or degrading the Step Network network or services.
- Fraudulent, abusive or unlawful activity.
- Unreasonable activity that harms other customers or the network.
6. Device and User Security
You are responsible for securing devices used to access Step Network services, including appropriate updates, passwords and security software. Step Network is not responsible for malware or unauthorised access originating from a customer's device or account where outside our reasonable control.
7. Network Management and Security
Step Network may monitor and manage technical and network information as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain and secure the network, investigate abuse, troubleshoot faults, protect customers and comply with legal or regulatory requirements. Traffic or access may be restricted where necessary to protect the network or users.
8. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with Step Network's Privacy Policy. Relevant information may be processed for registration, service delivery, authentication, payment administration, support, network management, security and lawful regulatory purposes.
9. Suspension or Termination
Step Network may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for non-payment, violation of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, security threats, unlawful use, or material risk to the network, users or Step Network. Immediate action may be taken where necessary. Suspension or termination does not remove amounts properly owed.
10. Maintenance and Service Interruptions
Service may be unavailable or degraded because of maintenance, upgrades, equipment failure, power interruptions, upstream-provider issues, weather, wireless interference, backhaul faults, emergencies or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. Step Network will take reasonable steps to restore service.
11. Refunds and Service Credits
Refunds, reversals or service credits, where applicable, will be handled according to the relevant package terms, payment circumstances, applicable procedures and Ghanaian law. A payment does not automatically create a refund right where service has already been validly activated or consumed, except where required by law or expressly approved.
12. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Step Network website, branding, text, graphics, logos, software and other materials are owned by or lawfully used by Step Network and may not be copied, modified, distributed or commercially exploited without permission.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The website or services may contain links to or rely on third-party services. Step Network is not responsible for independent third-party websites, payment platforms or content. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies.
14. Service Availability and Liability
Step Network will take reasonable measures to provide reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted or completely error-free availability.
To the extent permitted by law, Step Network will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from temporary interruption, congestion, upstream failures or matters outside reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Changes to Services and Terms
Step Network may modify, improve, suspend or discontinue website or service features where reasonably necessary. We may update these Terms; the latest version will be published on the website.

17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes not resolved through reasonable discussion or the applicable complaint process shall be addressed through the appropriate legal or regulatory channels in Ghana.
18. Entire Agreement and Severability
These Terms, applicable package terms, published service information and the Step Network Privacy Policy form the terms governing use of the relevant service. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
By using Step Network services, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
