Step Network is a Ghanaian social enterprise dedicated to reducing the digital divide by designing, deploying and supporting sustainable community networks that deliver affordable broadband connectivity and digital services to communities where reliable Internet remains limited.
Our work is guided by the belief that Internet connectivity enables education, healthcare, economic participation, innovation and social inclusion. We were established in response to the persistent connectivity challenges experienced by rural communities in Ghana, particularly geographically isolated areas where conventional telecommunications infrastructure is either unavailable or economically unviable.
Working closely with local communities, development partners and technical experts, we have developed a community-centred approach that combines modern wireless technologies with local participation to create networks that last.
